Our story
Sunnah Run Club started in Derby in 2026 with a simple idea. Get brothers out on a Sunday morning, moving together, and keep coming back week after week.
The Prophet ﷺ raced on foot, and he taught that the strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer. We run to follow that example of strength and brotherhood.
We picked Sunday at 8am because it works for everyone. No early alarm, no clash with work, and the Arboretum is right in the middle of Derby. Turn up, run at your pace and you're part of it.
